In this MND/ALS video, participants discuss how their condition has impacted upon relationships with family, friends, and partners. It is often very difficult for loved ones to watch the person they love and care for, changing right before their eyes. Participants discuss these, and other, difficulties.

There is considerable variability between patients in respect of initial symptoms, rate and pattern of progression, and survival time after diagnosis. It is an uncommon, but by no means rare disorder.

These 'Speaking from Experience' clips offer first hand accounts from four people living with MND, their partners and parents.
